Has anyone read Grandfather's Dance? This is the fifth book in the series that began with the Newbery Award winning Sarah Plain and Tall. The reviews about it look interesting.

I enjoy Sarah Plain and Tall, and I have read every book in the series (in order). This one concentrated on Sarah's son and his grandfather (tear jerker at end), but not so much on the daily life of the era. I think too much was written about what happened in the previous books. Is this the end? I hope not.

Grandfather's Dance deals with more interpersonal relationships within the family. It is every bit as good at "Sarah", simply and beautifully told. It has always amazed me how Patricia MacLachlan can tell such a compelling story with so few words. It is high on my list.
